So the common belief is that the Hemlines are longer when the economy aint doing that well & shorter when it does well. So basically the rising emotions due to happy economy, raises the skirt levels :) And the downer effect of a depressed economy makes us wear the skirts down and down and longer :(
Quite interesting i say! however i believe its more of a function of the fashion moves in a circle & comes back every few years kind of thing. But yeah, who am i to argue with fun facts :) Whatever lights your fire babe! Or whatever raises or drops your hemlines ladies :)
